October 2026 - Good News

This week, WhiteWater Express Car Wash on Mt. Zion Road in Florence is celebrating their Grand Opening with free car washes. We also can't wait to go to Sing for the 859, a FREE Viva Voices concert on November 14th benefiting Master Provisions. We hope to see you next weekend to hear all five of their incredible choirs. Stop by and say hi to our team while you're there!

Our volunteers are truly the best. Every month, an amazing group faithfully serves at our Mobile Food Pantry Outreach in Ludlow, not only distributing boxes of food to 150 families but also praying with each and every one of them. TMU's annual Saints Serve Day sent over 900 Thomas More University students and staff to support the needs of close to 60 local nonprofits - and MP was blessed to host one of those groups.

Community Christian Academy not only sent a group of students to volunteer, but they also organized their own food drive prior to serving. CCA spent a good chunk of their time restocking our shelves with items they donated themselves. What a blessing! From corporate groups to students to our daily volunteers and representatives from other nonprofits, we are so grateful for every person who gave their time and talents to make our community a better place to live this month. THANK YOU!

The OneNKY building is hosting a food drive this month to benefit Master Provisions. So grateful! Want to help end tristate hunger? It's easy to organize your own food drive. Find out MP's most-needed items & schedule your drive below.

We had a great month with our His Heroes groups! Grace wrapped up her internship, and a wonderful new intern (Caitlin) joined the team. Boone County High School sent their first group to Master Provisions, and we welcomed back groups from Cooper, Highlands, Lloyd, Beechwood, and the Point Arc. Each group brings something special to our warehouse. We couldn't be more thankful to get to serve alongside them!

When you're hungry, a meal can provide a spark of hope. 1 in 5 tristate kids & adults are hungry. $24/month funds 800+ meals each year to hungry families.

Reflect Jesus. Help others. Change our region for the better!

This is the first year in a long time it feels like autumn has lasted longer than a few days. We have been blessed by a lengthy season of temperate weather, colorful leaves, and sunshine. It's made us so grateful for the changing seasons and the blessings God brings us with each ending and each new beginning. Whether it's simply changing weather or a new season of our lives, "He has made everything beautiful in its time."

This month, ask Him to show you the good He is working through each season, even when it's hard. Many of us are struggling in a variety of ways, but God always makes something beautiful out of the ugly, hard moments. And the winter will bring its own kind of beauty even if we mourn the loss of the fall. Praying for each of you in whatever season you're in!

"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live."

Ecclesiastes 3:11-12 (NIV)

God bless you. Thank you for your continued prayers and support. We are so grateful God chooses to use each of us to be part of the work He is doing across the tristate!
