National Volunteer Appreciation Week!

This month, we had a chance to shine a light on our incredible volunteers who give so much time, talent, and support to our ministry. We celebrated all week long with ice cream and pizza parties (thanks, Dewey's Pizza!) for our daily volunteers. Our hope is that each of them felt the love we feel for them every single day... these people make our communities stronger and change lives. Thanks for all you do, volunteers!

We were blessed by so many hard-working, mission-minded volunteers this month! Thomas More University students served with us for Saints Serve Day, processing and preparing food to go to a wide variety of area nonprofits serving kids, families, and seniors in need across the tristate.

Lakeside Christian Church sent 60 volunteers to MP for their ServeNKY initiative. They packaged sausage patties, sorted and bagged potatoes, and processed muffins. Thank you for praying for us and serving with us!

We had several businesses run food drives for us this month. Special thanks to Caldwell Realty Group (Exp Realty), Medpace, and Amrize for collecting items to stock our shelves and feed people in need across the tristate! We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped with our Windows to Hope Golf Classic presented by Pella. From golfers to sponsors to volunteers to everyone who prayed for sunshine... THANK YOU. MP raised about $26,000 to use as we work to model the compassion of Jesus and strive for a hunger-free tristate. This money can fund more than 77,000 meals for people in need across our communities, an impact that will be felt throughout Greater Cincinnati. We're blessed to have such incredible supporters and friends!

You're Invited to MP's Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting

Join us to tour the facility and network with community members working to feed hungry people across the tristate. Refreshments will be available - please RSVP to help us plan. Ribbon cutting will occur right at 3:00, but an open house will follow immediately afterward. We hope to see you anytime between 3-6pm, even if you can't come right at 3:00!

May-cember is upon us. When the end-of-school-year, end-of-sports, start-of-summer chaos tends to hit all at once. When life can get a little overwhelming. If you're in that season right now, Psalm 46:10 reminds us that in the middle of all that noise, we are called to “Be still, and know that I am God.”

God isn't asking you to stop everything and truly do nothing, but He is inviting you to pause—just for a moment—and remember that God is bigger than any stress, worry, or pressure you’re feeling. When we stop and acknowledge Him, He reminds us that we’re not carrying all of this on our own. What a relief and a precious gift.

"Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10
