# July 2026 - Good News

As we wrap up July and kick off August, local schools and educators across the tristate are beginning preparations for another school year. Please join us in praying for school staff, parents, and students!
*God, we pray for your protection over our children this school year. Grant them focus, comprehension, and confidence. Give them strength to persevere when things get tough. Please put friends in each of their lives, and help them to be faithful friends to others.*
*We also pray for our teachers, administrators, and all those pouring into students each and every day. Lord, give them patience, wisdom, and compassion for the souls entrusted to them this school year. Allow them to build strong relationships and to inspire their students to learn and grow in a safe place. Place encouragers in their lives and allow them a glimpse into the eternal impact of the work they are doing.*
*And God, give parents peace - and not just from a quiet house after a summer of noisy children. Help them to trust you to watch over their babies as they navigate the world without their parents by their sides. Grant them strength to support their kids and be a positive influence in their lives. Thank you for the blessing of children. Help us to raise and love them well.*

Summer has been filled with opportunities to volunteer. From families to corporate and church groups, we have gotten to serve alongside amazing people of all ages all summer long. We had groups serving through The Point Arc's summer work program, Harbor Freight Tools, Payton's Lemonade Stand, Capernaum, and so many more. Macomb Christian Church even came all the way from Michigan for their annual serve day! We are so grateful for the incredible volunteers who make it possible for us to continue to serve our communities.
In between the hard work, we found lots of time to celebrate. Our volunteers, staff, and donors spent an evening at the Florence Y'alls game getting to know each other better, and it was so much fun! We also had ice cream sandwiches from Dreamy Whip and a taco bar from Taco Mama to appreciate our volunteers over the summer... what a treat. Thank you both!

32 years ago, Roger Babik started Master Provisions with the goal to serve God by connecting resources to needs. We were honored to celebrate another year of ministry this summer, and we are proud to continue to honor the values Roger built into the foundation of MP. Many of you have supported the work God is doing through this ministry since the early days back in 1994. Some of you have just recently learned of Master Provisions.
Regardless of how long you have been following along, thank you. Thank you for using the gifts you have been given - whether those are gifts of prayer, service, financial abundance, compassion, or something else entirely - to bless Master Provisions and those we serve. We couldn't do this work without you, and we are forever grateful for the way each of you uniquely move this mission forward!
