Hi! My name is Abby Marsh, and I am an Operations Assistant here at Master Provisions. I am honored to share the Good News with you this month, starting with a highlight from our His Heroes program. One of my responsibilities here at MP is building this program and, let me tell you, it has been such a wonderful start.
If you don’t know, His Heroes is a Master Provisions program started in 2023 that allows us to partner with several schools in the Northern Kentucky area. The goal of this program is to give individuals with disabilities the chance to learn a variety of life and social skills while volunteering in our distribution center.
As summer approached and the school year came to a close, we celebrated graduating seniors within this program with a donut party, but this was not an ordinary donut party. These donuts were the size of their heads, if not larger! The students’ jaws were on the floor. It was so much fun celebrating these individuals and the milestone they achieved. It was an honor to remind them that they are seen, valued, and loved by everyone at MP, and most importantly by God.
In other news, we are so excited to share that we have added 16 new nonprofit partners since the start of the year!
Master Provisions welcomes a wide variety of agencies to our warehouse. Everyone from food pantries to homeless shelters to school backpack programs to residential recovery centers get food from Master Provisions to stock their shelves with the essential resources they need. Any kind of 501(c)3 who feeds people can apply to get food from us at MP.
This highly collaborative approach with hundreds of other local nonprofits allows us to serve all kinds of needs and
individuals in our community!
If you are one of our many supporters who consistently pray for the work and mission of Master Provisions, thank you! As crews continue to work on building our newly expanded facility, be praying for the whole process. From the contractors working on our project to the weather to the people who will ultimately be impacted when they walk through those doors, be praying!
We also have our board and committee meetings this month. Pray for God to continue to guide us in those meetings and in the decisions we make for Master Provisions both now and in the future!

Let’s close with a devotion from Matthew 6:28-30 where Jesus reminds us how much our Father loves and cares for us. It says:
“Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?”
I love this scripture. For me, it is such a simple illustration of how deeply God cares for us. For a flower to grow, it takes the perfect amount of sunshine, water, and care from its pollinators. Flowers are also bold with color. They have intricate veining and curvature of each petal. If He cared that much about a simple wildflower you see growing on the side of the road, how much would he care about the creation he breathed life into? Stop worrying and have faith. God cares for you deeply. Trust in him.
