Good morning! I’m Kortni, the Marketing & Development Director here at Master Provisions. March has been full of Good News already. To start, we hired Kaycee as our new Operations Assistant. When you pop into the warehouse, expect to see her smiling face when you check in and out at the Food Center office!

If you follow our social media channels, you’ve likely seen that we have had tons of amazing groups serving with us this month. Mars Hill Academy did a massive Mac Pack where they put together almost 300,000 high-protein macaroni and cheese meals. Our friends at Fuel NKU came to serve with us and processed 1,663 bags of oatmeal. Jupiter Christian came all the way from Florida, the Point Arc served with us for a whole month, and so many more groups of people made their way through MP’s doors to volunteer in the past month. We are so thankful for all of you!

I got a very cool opportunity to speak with the ladies at Notre Dame Academy as part of Women Making a Difference Day. We have regular student-specific service opportunities, so if you want to be part of the work God is doing at Master Provisions, sign up here!

If you’re excited about March Madness starting soon, you’ll want to join our bracket challenge! You have until Monday at 5pm to sign up, so scan the code join the fun. It’s only $10 to enter, and we will have a fun prize package for the winner!

We also have an exciting expansion update. The ground is prepped and ready for the next phase of the project. Pray for dry ground and good weather to keep us on track to move in by the end of this year!

If you’re a golfer, our Windows to Hope Spring Golf Outing presented by Pella is coming up at the end of April. If you’re interested in being part of that as either a sponsor or a golfer, head to our website for more details on how to get involved!

Lastly, we have been nominated for a LinkNKY Reader’s Choice Award in the “Nonprofit” and “Places to Volunteer” categories. Voting is open until March 23rd – head over and vote for MP!

Lastly, if you do nothing else today, join our monthly recurring gift program called 1994 Connects. Just $19.94 a month can help up to 100 of your neighbors. Join today by clicking the button below. You will be blessed beyond measure knowing you helped a family in need with a simple, yet significant, monthly gift.

This week, read Psalm 34:8-10. “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him. Fear the Lord, you and his holy people, for those who fear him lack nothing. The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.”

That last part really jumped out at me. I know I can’t provide what I need on my own, no matter how hard I work, but that doesn’t stop me from trying sometimes! This month, ask God to relieve the pressure you’re putting on yourself to continuously do and be MORE. Let our hearts seek Him for our needs and desires. He will give us peace, rest, strength, purpose, forgiveness, and contentment when we rely on Him. On our own, we may fall short, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.

Thanks for following along with us. We hope to see you around Master Provisions soon!
