Scenes from India

MASTER Provisions provides clothing and the Gospel to the very poor people of India. Read about two of the ministries below. Click on the Area Map link to see about where each site is located.

Jesus Shine Ministries  (Area Map)

Carl and Amy (12K) Jesus Shine Ministries exists to provide food and clothing and the Gospel for widows and orphans living in slum villages within Hyderabad as well as in adjacent towns and villages. And, their goal is to plant and support a local church in every community in which they minister. Hyderabad is a bustling city of 6 million in South Central India. In this photo, Leah Babik is shown giving clothing to needy people in Hyderabad. MP shipped our first container to India from Lansing, Michigan in September of 2004. During our December '04 mission trip to Hyderabad, we participated in 13 church services in the slum villages and presented the Gospel and distributed clothing and shoes to thousands of destitute people. God prepared us in advance for His work to assist survivors of the massive tsunami that hit India's south and eastern coast. JSM distributed clothing and shoes to thousands of tsunami survivors in the coastal town of Nellore. Only God knew that the good people of Lansing were donating clothing to help thousands of people who would be rocked by a devastating natural disaster! JSM is led by Pastor Narimalla Donington and his wife, Jasmine.

Kerala Christian Mission (Area Map)

Baptism Eye Camp

Kerala Christian Mission received the container of clothing and shoes packed in November 2005 in Atlanta at the National Missionary Convention. Rajan Ipe, President of the 2005 NMC, oversaw distribution of the goods throughout India. The Kerala Christian Mission was organized in 1978 to restore New Testament Christianity in Kerala, in the southwest part of India. KCM is engaged in evangelism and discipleship training. The mission gives assistance to establish self supporting, self governing, self propagating New Testament congregations and they train young Christians to be preachers and teachers of the truth. 2005 is the third straight year that MASTER Provisions has completed a Clothing Project in conjunction with the National Missionary convention and Kerala Christian Mission is our second recipient in India.
